| About Tuggerah
We are very excited to present Tuggerah Region Business Centre
to you as an opportunity for investment. Tuggerah has had its status
upgraded to a “Regional Centre” by the NSW State Government
and Wyong Shire Council.
Newly rezoned land at Tuggerah on the NSW Central Coast has opened
the door to a host of new opportunities for business and industry.
Currently excellent development opportunities exist for commercial,
light industrial, bulky goods, retail and mixed use development
in the Tuggerah Precinct, all with the ability to capitalise on
the well established operations of Westfield Shoppingtown (Westfield’s
fourth highest turnover centre in its National Shopping Centre
Portfolio), Tuggerah Supa Centre, Sanitarium Snack Foods, Murdoch
Magazines and the NSW Police Assistance Call Centre.
Tuggerah has an advantage over other northern retail, commercial
and light industrial areas due to its proximity to Sydney, existing
infrastructure and easy access to the F3 freeway (the main corridor
for road transportation to Melbourne and Brisbane, also the main
corridor linking eastern Australia to western Australia). The new
Development Control Plan and the location of the precinct have
ensured that the area will not suffer from residential encroachment
as has happened in Sydney.
The NSW State Government and Wyong Council’s Strategy will
see Tuggerah become one of two multi-function regional centres
on the Central Coast, comparable with Chatswood, Parramatta, Burwood
and Macquarie Centre.
The Tuggerah Business Chamber Inc. (affiliated with the NSW State
Chamber of Commerce) established in 1999, supports the NSW Government
and Wyong Shire Council plans for Tuggerah to develop as one of
the Major Regional Centres on the Central Coast.
The Chamber has established a number of initiatives to attract
redevelopment, investment and new business to the Tuggerah Regional
Centre. We would welcome the opportunity of expanding on the investment
opportunities at a time convenient to you.
